IT Advisory

In addition to Outdoor Coaching, I help small businesses and independent professionals make clear, confident decisions about their technology.

My focus is not break-fix support or selling tools. It’s understanding how you work, where friction exists, and designing systems that support clarity, security, and forward progress.

What I help with

Technology Foundations

  • Google Workspace setup and optimization

  • Microsoft 365 support when it’s the right fit

  • Domain setup, DNS management, and email routing

  • Email, file organization, access control, and sharing clarity

Decision Support and Strategy

  • Tool selection and rationalization

  • Vendor comparisons and second opinions

  • Making emerging tools usable, not overwhelming

Ongoing Advisory

  • Trusted sounding board for tech decisions

  • Light support without long-term contracts

  • Help when things change, break, or no longer fit

How I work (and what I don’t do)

How I Work

  • Plain language, no jargon

  • Advice before implementation

  • Recommendations grounded in your actual needs

  • Independent. No vendor kickbacks

  • One-time sessions or short engagements welcome

What I Don’t Do

  • Full-service managed IT or help desk contracts

  • Hardware repair or onsite break-fix work

  • Ticket queues, scripts, or volume support

  • Pushing tools you don’t need

Advisory work is typically structured as focused sessions or short-term engagements.

Rates generally start at $200/hour, depending on scope and complexity.

If you are unsure what kind of help you need, that’s a good place to start.

We can talk through your situation and decide what makes sense.
